Radicalisation
IThe Prevent Strategy is designed to support and safeguard individuals who may be developing extreme views that are driven by an ideology. This process is often referred to as ‘radicalisation’.
If you are worried that someone you know may be placing themselves or others at risk because of their views, there are steps you can take to share your concerns.
You can speak to your university police officer to get advice and support, or you can call the Prevent Advice Line on 0800 011 3764 in confidence.
They are here to help and you will not be wasting their time. The earlier you tell them your worries, the quicker they can get the person the help they need.
